Job Title: Bilingual Field Service Technician 

Type: Temporary to Permanent

Workplace: 
Primary work location Drummondville / Trois Rivières / Ste Hyacinthe . 100% travel within territory assigned.

Duration of contract: 6 months or more (high possibility of conversion into full time permanent position)

Start date: ASAP

Days/hours: Rotation schedule
First, the technician will spend 1 month or 2 working daytime Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the time to go through the training. Thereafter, it will be the rotation schedule above:

Week 1 - Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
Week 2 - Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Week 3 - 3 days Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. & Saturday/Sunday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Week 4 - 4 days (10 hour shift any 4 days) Monday to Friday 12:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The technician's day starts from home and not when he arrives at the site.

Rate of pay: $24.00 an hour

Mileage paid: $0.55/km - Mileage is paid as soon as the technician leaves his residence


Bonus:- $200 after each 30 days of service upto 3 months

Must have some IT field/trouble shooting experience.
Nice to have experience with ATMs.

Additional detalis:
  1. Must have a valid driver's license?
  2. Must have reliable vehicle.  (remember we are paying them mileage for first 90 days) and upon successful FTE they will be provided a company vehicle.
  3. Must have valid auto insurance
  4. Must be able to lift 50 lbs?
  5. Will be accompanied by a guard/escort somtimes
  6. Must have basic technician tools
  7. Will be working with money in a public setting
  8. Will be working on your knees in an ATM/frequent bending over
  9. Must be flexible, Nights/weekends/overtime/holidays.
  10. Must be a fast learner and egar to learn

    Service Technician

    What is the Role?  Field Service Technicians respond to basic customer requests for equipment issues.  Candidates will be a part of a team and a territory where customer requests will be assigned throughout the day.  Using provided tools and repair kits, you will travel to customer sites to resolve the issue.  Our entry level technicians respond to 5-8 calls per day across their territory.

    Physical & Technical Requirements:   This is a physical job, so you much have the ability to do the following:

  12. In the Field:  Every day brings something different, so Field Techs should be comfortable in a lot of different settings, for example:

  13. Inside banks and retail establishments
  14. Outside in all weather conditions, possibly for extended periods of time.
  15. Consistent and punctual attendance.  The ability to work overtime, weekends, second shifts or participate in an on-call rotation when scheduled
  16. Out of the box thinkers.  You must be able to work with little supervision and have the ability to apply common sense, experience, and the theory towards solving and decision making.
