Type: Contract- 1 year with probability of extension
Location: Downtown Montreal, QC
Start date: May 5th, 2025
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $30.00 an hour
Responsibilities:
- Perform IMAC (installs, moves, add, changes) services on hardware for desktops, laptops, tablets, flat panel monitors, printers, routers, firewalls, switches, & access points
- Perform desktop and COTS (custom-off-the-shelf-software) installation/upgrades including staging & imaging
- Provide break-fix services
- Perform 1st level deskside Support troubleshooting & remediating hardware, software, & network related issues for end users
- Provide 1st level help desk Support troubleshooting & remediating hardware, software, & network related issues for end users for end users
- Perform LAN & internet working related activities
- Handle bench repairs & remedial maintenance
- Deal with 3rd party IT vendors as required
- Manage IT asset inventory as required
- Must have 5 to 7 years of experience
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
- Must be fluent in French
- 5-7 years of hardware, software (Windows 7/10), & end-user support experience
- Great internet working & troubleshooting skills
- Must have a minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program
- Have A+ certification
- Must be a self-starter and can manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Great customer service skills
- Great verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision
