Job Title: ServiceNow (SNOW) Developer

Type: Contract - 12 months

Location: Hybrid - 2-4 days/week remote + 1-2 days/week onsite (flexibility with the days )- 44 King Street West, Toronto, M5J 2 J5

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5pm

Starts: ASAP

Ends: 12 months after start date

Require development support for the ServiceNow platform to drive Service Desk Tool Modernization. Development deliverables will be focused on configuration of Service Operations Workspace and simplification and modernization of our virtual agent.

 

Skills:

  • Computer Science Diploma or Degree; or related work experience. Minimum 4 years of application development experience is required including 3 years in Service Now
  • Java script experience
  • Must be ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) Certified
  • ServiceNow Application Developer Certification (is considered an asset)
  • ServiceNow Implementor Certification (is considered an asset)
  • Will need to complete the following courses within the first 30 days:
  • Virtual Agent Fundamentals (1hr 36 min)
  • Create Virtual Agent Topic Blocks (10 min)
  • Get Started with Service Operations Workspace Simulator (1hr 3 min)

Role & Functions:

  • Executing the Service Operations Workspace and Virtual Agent development for the client's Technology Service Desks across multiple geographies
  • Provide solutions that remain low code and aligned with out of the box best practices (out of the box flows, out of the box topics, etc.)
  • Ensure work is within client's Service Management Team coding best practices
  • Work with a cross functional team
  • Effectively work with stakeholders both internally and externally to the organization
  • Understand business requirements and implement technical requirements while working with standard design principles
  • Engage with the Architect and Team Leads to produce high-level and /or detailed design of requirements
  • Estimating development effort for requirements
